Joy Lynn is an organizer extraordinaire. She is the “front office” interface with our clients and she is the owner of the calendars—managing both the master corporate calendar and Sherryl’s schedule.
In addition to scheduling, she will do “anything and everything administrative” to help meet clients’ needs. She manages client information, data & reporting, email correspondence, contracts & licensing, presentations, events, workshops, and other responsibilities. She works to make clients’ lives easier, whether that means helping them prepare for Board meetings, meeting special deadlines, or organizing staff retreats.
In her former lives, she ran the business office for the University of Alaska, was the Fitness Director of the Juneau Racquet Club (with a staff of 52), and was Controller for one of the Northwest’s premier custom cabinet manufacturers. She has also been an educator in both public and private elementary schools. A first-rate writer and editor, she was named a 2010 Boise State Writing Project Fellow.
Today, fortified with a BA in Accounting and a Masters in Teaching, Joy Lynn combines her twin talents of uber-organization and communication to keep Sherryl and Best Practice, Inc. running smoothly. She is an avid fan of the outdoors, is passionate about natural horsemanship, and also owns and operates The Joyful Gardener, a garden design and maintenance business on Whidbey Island, WA.
