WHO WE ARE
Best Practice, Inc. (BPI) provides exceptionally personalized and results-focused executive coaching for individuals and teams, as well as coaching supervision and online support. We deliver leadership and behavioral insights that you are unlikely to identify on your own. You will learn to integrate and leverage seemingly opposing dimensions of your personality and skills through our “Both/And” coaching approach, resulting in confident leadership in the face of change.
Formed in 1984 by cofounder and principal, Sherryl T. Christie, we are dedicated to making the world a better place, one extraordinary leader at a time. For more than 30 years we have operated from our Seattle-area base and today serve an international and varied clientele. Our clients are smart, highly skilled, creative leaders who are ready to act courageously to gain deeper understanding of their leadership and take transformative action.
HOW WE ENGAGE

We are not cookie cutter. You will not be given a rote series of assessments and fit into an off-the-shelf program. You will be engaged on a deeply personal and supportive level—meeting you where you are today and within any larger business transition.

We believe that being the most nurturing coach means being fully honest. Our feedback is often described as “direct” and “un-sugarcoated.” We believe it is possible to give honest feedback and tackle tough issues or tall egos while still being respectful and encouraging. A genuine warmth and care for the client—as a person first—is at the heart of each coaching partnership. We believe these two must coexist to help strong leaders continue to grow.

We hold ourselves accountable to delivering observable progress and we measure ourselves against the goal of producing “a multiple times return on your investment.” Our work with you will enable growth that is practical yet profound. As a result, you will come to see yourself—and be recognized by colleagues—as an extraordinary leader who confidently navigates change.
